Pascal Bolo elected President of SGI Europe

On 8 December 2020, SGI Europe General Assembly elected Pascal Bolo as President of the association.

President of SGI Europe-France and of SEMITAN (managing the public transport network of Nantes Métropole), Mr Bolo took over the presidency of SGI Europe from Mr Rainer Plassmann.

Further to his election, Mr Bolo commented:

"More than ever, we need to carry the voice of those enterprises responsible for the essential services of general interest for citizens. Those issues should be addressed at EU level, with its institutions and singularly the European Commission. This should be done together, building up on the full strength of our cooperation and the diversity represented within SGI Europe."

In SGI Europe's renewed Presidential Team, Pascal Bolo will work with 3 Vice-Presidents: Milena Angelova (Bulgaria), Filippo Brandolini (Italy) and Ingbert Liebing (Germany).
