The SGI Europe Internal Market Board (former Public Servcies Board) is the forum which gathers members of the three SGI Europe transversal task forces: the local enterprises task force, the services of general interest and statistics task force and the enterprises, internal market and competition task force.
The board focuses on issues that are common to these three task forces and enable an open and fruitful discussion among its members coming from very diverse background. It is also in charge of drawing the main lines of SGI Europe lobby action of public services.
SGI Europe is also engaged in joint projects together with the other cross-sectoral European social partners. These projects support the capacity of social partners to address shared challenges, strengthen European social dialogue, and develop common tools or analysis on issues of mutual interest. You can read more about these projects on the Employers' Resource Centre.
One of SGI Europe’s core strategic activities is to develop knowledge, support its members, and foster cooperation and innovation across sectors and countries. Through EU-funded projects, SGI Europe brings together members, partners and experts to address common challenges affecting services of general interest. The evidence, practical examples and shared analysis generated through these projects support SGI Europe’s policy work and strengthen its positions towards the European institutions.
