The Social Protection Task Force addresses key long-term issues such as demographic ageing, the reforms of pension systems and access to social protection in Europe.

The activities of the Social Protection Task Force take many different shapes, ranging from technical written contributions to Commission proposals on pension delivery, to responses to public and social partners consultations on the consequences of and mitigation of demographic ageing in Europe.

Finally, the Task Force is also the coordinating body of SGI Europe’s representation in the European Commission high-level expert group on Pensions.
